three / fifty two 15-21 January 2013

Sometimes I worry that I'm not offering Piet enough variety.....or that he doesn't have enough opportunities to spend time with other people (apart from just me) however when I look back at photos from the week, well..... I feel much better.

Rewind: Christmas 2012

Christmas Day started early with the French cousins searching through stockings to see their deliveries from Santa;  Piet didn't miss out, his stocking was crazily full...that Santa is really on the ball to find our 4 month old Piet.

A Christmas morning tickle from Dad

Piet showing off his Jolly Jumper 'moves'

Too much morning Jolly Jumping = nap time soon after

Best part of the day - present giving (and receiving)

 Piet & cousin Luca

Matilda, translating French letters

Piet with Tony & cousins

Piet's cousin, Matilda

Piet with Johno

Lizzie opening presents

Encore performance of Jolly Jumping before lunch

I cooked the cake! Its a Middle Eastern Boiled Christmas Fruit Cake, however table looked amazing with or without the cake.

Oh ohhh....Piet getting tired again after Jolly Jumping effort...and lunch still to be served

Christmas night - trying his hardest to keep awake to so he doesn't miss a thing

Paul and Johno both looking sleepy

Boxing Day + Boxing day Test V Sydney to Hobart on TV.   No family members taking part in this years Sydney to Hobart

Morning nap time

Second attempt to head to the beach.

That sea air works really well on babies...he hasn't stopped lulling about since we arrived.

Lizzie hunting for blackberries on the way to beach for the afternoon

Getting sleepy.......

....and the sea air does it's trick again....

....even working it's magic on Johno

Slept all the way home.....

.....which meant Tony & I could sneak out to a restaurant for a quick refreshment or two.

In summary: Christmas was WAY fun and Piet the cutest baby of all time! (No bias at all)
